You may have heard it said that Thailand is the Land of Smiles - it's true!  If you've never had the opportunity to come to this amazing country - you are in for holiday you won't soon forget.  Thai hospitality is legendary - it's time you experienced it!  Book Now!

A unified Thai kingdom was established in the mid-14th century.  Known as Siam until 1939, Thailand is the only Southeast Asian country never to have been taken over by a European power.  Today, Thailand is one of the strongest and fastest developing countries in Asia - despite the latest Coup of the government.

Thailand is located in tropical Southeast Asia, north of the Equator and boasts 65 million residents as of 2004.  This beautiful country shares it's borders with Malaysia (south), Cambodia (east), Laos (north) and Myanmar, formally Burma (west).

Despite popular belief, Thailand is one of the most industrialized nations in Asia.  Bangkok, the capital, is the largest city in the country with six million people and is a major hub for much of the world's travel.

There are two coasts in Thailand - In the east is the Gulf of Thailand; in the west there is the Andaman Sea.  Both are modern havens for the holiday-maker and have an abundance of physical activities to indulge in including; scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, rock-climbing, fishing, kayaking, dancing and plenty of other fun things to keep you moving.

Koh Samui is located in the southern Gulf of Thailand - about one (1) hour - via direct flight into Koh Samui's tropical open-air airport, from Bangkok.

Koh Samui is one of the largest islands (covering an area of 228.7 km²) in Thailand and is home to 46,000+ residents.  An additional 10,000+ foreigners make Koh Samui their home as well.  The life on Samui is very relaxed and easy going.  There is plenty to do (or NOT do) during the days and a very active night-life.
